Transport workers keep Nepal moving. The All Nepal Transport Workers’ Union brings together people working across the sector to defend their economic, social and legal rights and to advance their welfare.
The union grew from Nepal’s labour movement and the efforts of transport workers to protect their shared interests. Its official introduction records registration with the Department of Labour on 2063/12/15 BS under registration number 156.
ANTWU works to improve working conditions and living standards, strengthen unity across the sector, and support workers’ education, health and welfare. It also works with government and private-sector organisations on policies that affect workers, organises training and workshops, and helps mediate workplace problems.
A shared voice gives workers a stronger place in the conversations that shape their lives and livelihoods.
