A strong union is built through everyday cooperation. ANTWU’s work starts with the rights of transport workers and grows through the relationships that connect workers across Nepal.
The union advocates for economic, social and legal rights while working to improve the conditions in which people earn a living. That means listening to workplace concerns, bringing workers together, and creating space for practical discussion and collective action.
Education, health and welfare are part of the same commitment. Training and workshops help workers build confidence and knowledge, while dialogue with government and private-sector organisations keeps workers’ priorities present in policy conversations.
When transport workers stand together, the whole sector gains a clearer path toward dignity, safety and a better standard of living.
